PDF file size
The maximum file size for a dissertation to submit via the Campus Portal is 10 Mb. There are several ways to reduce the file size if necessary.

Both websites show only a small selection of options and there are several other online tools available.
If you want to include PDFs of publications in your thesis, please save all parts as PDFs and combine them into one PDF file afterwards. Do not insert entire publications as whole-page images into a Word-file before converting the Word-file into a PDF. Files that are created in this way will be way too big to upload. Furthermore, the text of your publication will be converted into an image and won’t be searchable anymore, which is very inconvenient to the evaluators!
