Doctoral Degree in Human Biology (until 30.09.2018)

Dr-med-biol-swAll doctoral research projects that have been registered in the Doctoral Office (Promotionsbüro) by submission of the supervision agreement by September 30th, 2018, will be carried out according to the previously valid Examination Regulations.

PLEASE NOTE:
Crucial for this is the submission of the supervision agreement. Doctoral research projects that have been registered accordingly by submission of the supervision agreement by September 30th, 2018, are not affected by the new Examination Regulations.
Supervision agreements that were/are submitted on October 1st, 2018 or after, will be carried out according to the new Examination Regulations (structured doctoral degree), regardless of the date specified on the supervision agreement.

The Dr. rer. biol. hum (Doctoral Degree in Human Biology) is designed for future doctoral candidates, who would like to carry out a doctoral project at the Medical Faculty but do not have a degree in human or dental medicine. In order to qualify for this degree, all future candidates must first absolve a pre-doctoral examination, before they can be admitted to the doctoral examination.
